In Q1 2026, North American companies ordered 9,055 robots valued at $543 million, with units essentially flat compared to Q1 2025 and order revenue down 6.4%. The quarter was shaped in part by a cyclical decline in Automotive OEM orders, while demand across several non-automotive and emerging sectors was considerably stronger, including Life Sciences/Pharma/Biomed, Semi & Electronics/Photonics, Food & Consumer Goods, Plastics & Rubber, and All Other Industries. Collaborative robots were also a bright spot, increasing 55.6% in units and 78.2% in revenue year-over-year, and accounting for 18.1% of total units ordered and 12.9% of total order revenue.

In 2025, 7,212 collaborative robots were ordered, valued at $241 million, accounting for 19.6% of total units and 10.7% of total revenue.
