Pittsburgh Robotics Network to Host RoboPGH Day
Event Will Highlight the Economic Impact of Robotics Companies and Future Robotics Solutions
PITTSBURGH, PA - On the eve of the White House Frontier Conference to be attended by President Barack Obama, Pittsburgh robotics companies will showcase the great success and growth of robotics since the President’s 2011 visit to Carnegie Mellon University’s National Robotics Engineering Center. Over the last five years, Pittsburgh’s robotics companies have exploded onto the scene with commercial products that are providing solutions to agriculture, aviation, defense, health care, mining, and transportation. RoboPGH Day will provide the media the opportunity to talk directly with leading industry roboticists along with a first-hand look at the technology pioneered today that will change lives tomorrow.
