Stepper Motors
Stepper motors, also known as step motors, or stepping motors, are brushless DC motors that divide a full rotation into multiple steps. Stepper motors have multiple coils that are organized in phases. By energizing each phase of coils, the motor will rotate, one step at a time.
With a stepper motor, you can achieve very precise positioning and speed control. For this reason, stepper motors are the motor of choice for many precision motion control applications.
Stepper motors are an inexpensive yet powerful option.
The stepper motors below come in many different sizes, styles and electrical options. Browse below to find the right stepper motors for your automation project.
