Hamamatsu offers a variety of CMOS linear image sensors that combine a timing circuit and signal processor on the same chip. This simplifies external circuitry requirements, making them easy to use. The sensors also provide high sensitivity in the UV to NIR region, and data rates for video reach as high as 10 MHz. This comprehensive lineup includes sensors for long or wide photosensitive detection in a wide range of industrial applications. A variety of package types is available including DIP (dual inline package) and SMT (surface mount). In addition, COB (chip on board) packaging with thicknesses down to 0.88 mm is available for the most compact industrial instruments.
