Coupling / Collars

Coupling / Collars Image

A coupling joins the drive and driven shafts in your motor to maximize power transmission and machine run-time. Couplings also allow your motor to experience some movement and misalignment, while protecting it against overloads. Some common examples of couplings include:

  • sleeve couplings
  • diaphragms
  • gear couplings
  • clamped couplings

Shaft collars are simple, o-shaped devices that perform multiple tasks for your motor. They are most commonly used as mechanical stops, locators and bearing faces. The types of shaft collars include collars with set screws, clamp-style collars, and axial clamps, all of which are easily installed.

It can be difficult to decide what couplings and collars you need without knowing what kids are available.

Our member companies manufactured all of the couplings and collars below to fit the needs of nearly every industrial application. Browse below to find the couplings and collars that are right for your automation project.
