Dobot CRA Series Awarded SGS NA Listed Mark Certification

POSTED 10/18/2024

Dobot is proud to announce that our CRA Series collaborative robots (cobots) have been awarded the SGS North America Listed Mark by SGS, the world’s leader testing, inspection, and certification company. The certification highlights the CRA Series’ adherence to the highest levels of safety and compliance, ensuring its seamless integration into modern manufacturing environments.

Comprehensive Safety Testing

The Dobot CRA Series underwent a wide array of rigorous Safety Function (SF) tests to guarantee the highest levels of safety in collaborative environments. These tests included evaluations of emergency stop features, position and speed limits, torque and force restrictions, and collision detection. Each safety function is designed to ensure seamless human-robot collaboration, maximizing operator safety while maintaining efficiency on production lines.

" SGS NA Listed Mark is a significant endorsement of the safety and reliability of the Dobot CRA Series. We are proud that our cobots have met such rigorous testing standards, demonstrating our commitment to delivering safe and efficient automation solutions. This certification reassures our customers that they are investing in a product that not only enhances productivity but also prioritizes the safety of their workforce."

Yu Jiang, General Manager of Dobot’s Manufacturing Center, expressed his confidence in the certification.
