Neousys Announces Rugged NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX GMSL2 Camera Sensor Hub for Autonomous Vehicles and AMRs
Taipei, Taiwan – Neousys Technology, a leading provider of rugged embedded systems, announces a new generation of Jetson-based rugged camera sensor hub that features GMSL2 connectors, the NRU-51V+ series. To enable Jetson computing deployments on mobile systems, it supports -25°C to 60°C fanless operation, four GMSL2 ports for automotive or 3D cameras, and 8V to 35V DC input with ignition power control in compact dimensions. With 100 TOPS inference performance while consuming only 25W of power, NRU-51V+ is ideal for vehicle ADAS systems and autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
NRU-51V+ supports four GMSL2 ports for greater vision capability. It can be connected with small-size automotive cameras that are IP67 waterproof, and can quickly adapt to dynamic lighting conditions with HDR, auto white balance, and auto camera exposure. Such capabilities can benefit vehicles when they pass through a tunnel where lighting conditions may change drastically, and yet it does not affect the quality of the acquired images for analysis. Or, it can be connected with 3D cameras, such as Intel® RealSense™ D457, which offers lower latency and longer cable connectivity, making it ideal for AMR applications.
Certified System Integrator Program
Set Yourself at the Forefront of the Global Vision Market
Vision system integrators certified by A3 are acknowledged globally throughout the industry as an elite group of accomplished, highly skilled and trusted professionals. You’ll be able to leverage your certification to enhance your competitiveness and expand your opportunities.
Capable of true -25°C to 60°C wide-temperature operation, the Neousys’ effective thermal dissipation design offers non-throttling CPU performance up to 65°C at maximum TDP and fanless conditions. Meanwhile, the 8V to 35V wide-range DC input and built-in ignition power control allow it to be directly powered by battery for in-vehicle and automated mobile robot deployments. In addition, NRU-51V+ supports rich I/O interfaces, including 10GbE, CAN 2.0, and M.2 5G/ LTE module for mobile connectivity.
"NRU-51V+ is Neousys' response to versatile GMSL2 camera-based AI applications. The GMSL2 interface supports not only automotive cameras for dynamic outdoor lighting conditions but also 3D cameras for indoor depth and RGB information. With Neousys' rugged design, NRU-51V+ accelerates the realization of AMR in warehouses, last-mile delivery, smart agriculture, or ADAS for off-road vehicles.," said Kaichu Wu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology.
