High-Flex Right Angle Gigabit Ethernet Cable Assemblies
POSTED 05/21/2010
Customizable for Limited-Space Applications; Available in Variety of Strain-Relief Orientations and Lengths
The Intercon 1 division of Nortech Systems Inc. (NSYS 3.75, -0.04, -1.06%) introduces High-Flex Right Angle Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) Cable Assemblies for GigE and GigE Vision(R) cameras.
Unlike off-the-shelf options, these assemblies are built to customer specifications for length and connector orientation -- right/left, up/down and straight. This customization and the assemblies' low profile help minimize increasingly tight space requirements.
The industrial-rugged assembly design includes overmolded strain relief and thumbscrew-locking connectors for greater data integrity and performance, even through motion and vibration. Intercon 1's high-flex cable has exceeded 12 million cycles in both tick-tock and rolling torsion testing. The double-shielded cable is engineered to minimize EMI interference and cross-talk; its durable TPE jacket resists environmental conditions like moisture, oil and abrasion.
