It is available in English and Mandarin and can be viewed online or requested in print.

This important industry brochure was a collaborative effort between the AIA, the EMVA (European Machine Vision Association), JIIA (Japan Industrial Imaging Association) and their collective members. It explains vision industry standards, features detailed specifications on hardware and software interface standards and includes a comparison chart which can be used to guide the selection of the most appropriate standard for an application.

Hardware standards covered in the brochure are AIA’s Camera Link, Camera Link HS, GigE Vision, USB3 Vision and JIIA’s CoaXPress. Software standards detailed include EMVA’s GenICam and JIIA’s IIDC2. Volunteers from each association’s standards committees, along with association staff, worked to develop this brochure which is geared to helping system integrators and end users of vision and imaging technology.

AIA member companies may contact AIA for bulk quantities of the brochure to distribute to their customers. Call +1 734 994-6088.
