Applied Reg Coulter, Regional Sales Manager in General Industry, Recently Appointed to Oxford-Addison Youth Assistance (OAYA) Board of Directors in Michigan

nville, New York — Applied Robotics Inc., a leading global manufacturer of robotic end-of-arm tooling and connectivity solutions, today announced their Michigan based Regional Sales Manager, Reg Coulter, was appointed to the Oxford –Addison Youth Assistance (OAYA) Board of Directors. OAYA’s primary purpose is to prevent and reduce the incidence of delinquency, abuse and neglect through community involvement of local citizens in OAYA. Coulter began working with OAYA as a mentor to an at-risk child and his involvement, ideas and recommendations were so well regarded, that the Board asked him to please join them in the governing and administration of the local Youth Assistance program.
Coulter will work with the other 11 members in developing and implementing local OAYA activities to improve the lives of youth and families facing social problems. Other board duties will include policy review and setting, developing and administering the budget and fundraising among other tasks. Coulter has already begun working on an OAYA website as well as social media; including Facebook and Twitter, “We are very pleased to have Reg on the OAYA Board.” said Ms. Cassandra Goulding, Youth Assistance Caseworker II. “He brings great new ideas and new experience, including social media which has worked well for his company and will work well to raise community awareness for our program, activities and services.”

Each Youth Assistance program operates under the sponsorship and financial support of its local school district, municipalities, the Oakland County Circuit Court – Family Division, and the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, as well as, financial contributions from corporations and individuals.. Programs offered by OAYA include Family Education, Camp and Skill Building scholarships, Mentoring, Youth Recognition, Community Garden and other programs that could make a positive difference in the lives of youth and families in the Oxford-Addison area in Michigan related to the OAYA mission.
