Customised ZM18 laser modules by flexible modular conception
Laser manufacturer Z-LASER enhances its laser series ZM18 with ZM18DM and ZM18DM5. They are specialised to fit industrial applications as structured illumination for 3D measurement, bio photonics and medical solutions. The ZM18DM series is characterised by an extremely compact housing as well as high possible modulating frequencies of up to 100 kHz. This enables a simple synchronization with a camera system or an intensity attitude of the laser over PWM (pulse width modulation).
The ZM18DM is available with red and infrared wavelengths (635-980nm) as well as an optical output of up to 80mW. A multiplicity of optics helps to adjust the laser to customer systems. An integrated µController supervise at any time power output, temperature and other important operating parameters and ensure a maximization of the life span of the laser. The connection of the laser becomes simple – installation is possible via the M12 plug connection (machine tension and/or 5-30VDC) or in the form of the ZM18DM5 via its integrated cable (4-6VDC). An external hand focusing as well as the M18 sensor housing with protection class IP67 (dust/water proof) facilitate additionally the integration and handling of the module.
