The UR5e is a lightweight, adaptable collaborative industrial robot that tackles medium-duty applications with ultimate flexibility.  Balancing its 5kg payload with an 850mm reach, the ease of use and precision expected of any UR collaborative robot allows users to scale up automation at their facility with many medium-duty applications fitting this cobots specifications.

The e-Series family from Universal Robots has four members – the UR3e, UR5e, UR10e and UR16e. Each cobot has a different reach and payload, but they share the same precision, accuracy and dependability that makes them a valuable addition to any production facility. Our cobots are certified by TÜV NORD for ISO 10218-1 and safety functions are rated as Cat.3 PL d according to ISO 13849-1. E-Series cobots can work safely alongside operators on the production line, thanks to built-in and customizable safety features, subject to an application risk assessment. The Universal Robots UR3e is an ultra-lightweight, compact collaborative industrial robot, ideal for table-top applications. Its small footprint makes it ideal to be built directly inside machinery or in other tight workspaces. This cobot weighs only 24.3 lbs (11 kg), but has a payload of 6.6 lbs (3 kg). Its ±360-degree rotation on all wrist joints, and infinite rotation on the end joint, makes it well-suited for light assembly and screwdriving applications.
