The RealSense™ Depth Camera D555 PoE is the first RealSense device to feature Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enabling long-range, reliable, and scalable 3D vision deployments. Powered by the new RealSense Vision SoC V5, the D555 combines industry-leading stereo processing, motion estimation, and a vision-optimized DSP to deliver exceptional AI performance in a compact, low-power form factor.
Featuring an IP65-rated enclosure, the D555 is dust-tight and protected from water jets, making it ideal for industrial and outdoor robotics applications. Its global-shutter D450 optical module with a built-in IMU ensures high-precision depth and motion sensing, while the SafeDDS protocol provides ISO 26262-certified, real-time communication compatible with ROS 2 via Ethernet.
Designed for vision-based AI solutions, the D555 accelerates machine learning and automation by providing accurate, synchronized 3D data across multiple camera systems.
