PushCorp, Inc. Product
HIGH TORQUE ROBOTIC SERVO SPINDLE
PushCorp's robotic spindles are powerful, rugged and efficient. Their servo technology enables constant speed, making them a great candidate for material removal applications. All of PushCorp servo motors utilize liquid cooled, permanent magnet, brushless, closed-loop technology. This gives our spindles the highest power-to-weight ratio and power efficiency in the industry. With proper cooling, our motors are designed to run with up to a 100% duty cycle - turn them on, leave them on. They can handle high-power, continuous operation for years with zero maintenance - no problem! Our robotic spindles allow for continuously variable speed and constant, maximum torque over the entire speed range. Finally, all PushCorp robotic servo motors are designed to be easily mounted to our Compliant Tools (EOAT) in a variety of orientations to provide a complete end-of-arm process solution.
STC1015
High Torque Robotic Servo Spindle Motor
The PushCorp STC1015 high torque servo motor spindle is an ideal solution for automated robotic material removal applications such as:
- Robotic Grinding
- Robotic Sanding
- Robotic Polishing
- Robotic Deburring
- Robotic Routing
- Robotic Gate Removal
The STC1015 features a powerful 15 hp [11.2 kW] servo motor that provides constant speed. This automation equipment is designed to mount parallel or perpendicular on the AFD620, AFD82, AFD1240, and AFD92 force compliance devices. As a result, it has never been easier to program beautiful and consistent surface finishes.
The STC1015 may also be mounted directly to the robot with no force compliance device. This opens the door for rigid applications such as routing and deflashing.
The motor shaft is configured to accept standard BT30 tapered toolholders. Customers can choose to use standard off the shelf CNC tooling as well as custom PushCorp toolholders. Together, these components allow for a wide range of abrasive disks, wheels, drill bits and cutting tools. PushCorp is a leading developer of End of Arm Tool controllers.
The STC1015 servo spindle comes standard with quick change functionality. Simply supply 90 PSI to drop off a toolholder, then release the air pressure to pick up a new one with a fresh abrasive.
The Kollmorgen S724 amplifier powers the servo spindle, provides analog speed control, and digital I/O. This can be ordered on it’s own or integrated into a UL certified control panel.
