The TB30 tandem conveyor, configured for tandem operation, proves to be an optimal choice for transporting larger pallets and similarly bulky, dimensionally stable items. Customization of the width and positioning of support surfaces ensures an ideal contact area for the product. Utilizing an elastomer coupling, the two conveyor chassis are efficiently linked and driven by a single motor.
Chassis widths and the gap between them are tailored to specific applications, accommodating widths up to a maximum of 3.28 ft. Its modular design, employing standardized components, renders the TB30 tandem conveyor highly adaptable. Both conveyor length and belt spacing are tailored to individual customer requirements. Power transmission to the belt is exceptionally efficient, ensuring minimal slip, particularly under heavier loads or when product accumulation occurs, necessitating the sliding plate insert.
In comparison to conventional asynchronous geared motors, significant energy and cost savings are realized. Under continuous 3-shift operation throughout a year, uninterrupted usage of the TB30 conveyor results in electricity savings of 512 kWh and approximately $235.
An array of standard chassis widths, drive configurations, and accessories such as side guides and floor stands are readily accessible. Standard widths for the TB30 conveyor range from 2.36 to 9.84 in, with a maximum length of 32.8 ft. Both single-belt and double-belt configurations are available, along with a tandem chassis variant driven by a single motor, specifically tailored for transporting larger pallets and dimensionally stable products.
