Polarization Cameras Featuring Latest Sony IMX264MZR/MYR Polarization Sensors - Phoenix & Triton
Model: PHX050S1-P/Q, PHX050S-P/Q, TRI050S1-P/Q, TRI050S-P/Q

Phoenix & Triton 5.0 MP polarization camera models feature Sony IMX264MZY/MYR polarization CMOS sensors, offering the same high quality performance as previous Sony IMX250MZR/MYR sensors but at a significantly lower cost
Sony's next generation of polarization sensors offer high quality polarized imaging at a significantly lower price point than previous IMX250MZY/MYR sensor models. LUCID’s latest Triton™ and Phoenix™ 5.0 MP polarized cameras feature the new IMX264MYR (color) and IMX264MZR (mono) polarized CMOS sensors. They use Sony’s Polarsens™ technology with four different directional polarizing filters (0°, 90°, 45°, and 135°) on every 2 by 2 array of pixels.
Polarized imaging enables the detection and characterization of many material properties such as plastic, glass, metal and carbon fiber that were impossible to see with conventional monochrome or color sensors. These new lower-cost Triton and Phoenix polarization cameras are now in production.
