Double shielding — a plastic-laminated aluminum foil layer combined with a tinned copper wire braid — makes the cable suited for use in electromagnetically loaded areas. The cable meets IEC 61158-2, DIN 19245 T3, and EN 50170 requirements and supports PROFIBUS transmission rates up to 12 Mbps.
