DPS-824S1 High-Speed Coplanar 3D Scanner

The DPS-824S1 leads the race by outputting 3D geometric point cloud data as high as 3,000 scans per second. Housed in a rugged IP67 enclosure, DPS-824S1 uses Hermary’s coded light for achieving high ambient light immunity. With Hermary’s GIG-4PT Terminator Card, the scanning systems can be easily configured into multi-scanner arrays. The proprietary coplanar scanning technology, combined with the ability to load new processing software delivers scanning performance today with a technology upgrade path for the future.

Built initially to capture accurate 3D measurement on boards, flitches and cants up to 50 cm (20″) thick, this high-speed scanner can be used to scan any plane objects on fast-moving conveyor belts. Renowned for its fast scan rate and reliability in the sawmill industry, many other industries have since then adapted DPS-824S1 into their production lines, automating object or feature identification processes that were not possible with a 2D scanning solution.
