boxEZ

Flex-Line Automation's boxEZ system is a fantastic way to automate a repetive process. We use a collaborative robot, like a UR10e, to erect multiple sizes of boxes in a small footprint compared to a traditional case erector. The boxEZ collaborative robot box erector is easy to install, and quick to configure. The boxEZ pulls a box from a box magazine, and uses a custom vacuum end effector to open the box and run it through a folding stand and taping table.   

We are happy to design custom magazines for your box sizes, or if you run a batch process and want to use the same magazine for multiple sizes of boxes we are happy to work with you to provide that solution as well. However, it will require your staff to touch up points at the time of changeover to ensure a proper fold. But don't worry, we include training too.

The boxEZ collaborative box erector can discharge in several ways, all determined by your needs. It can run continuously down a conveyor, replace boxes in a queue for a pack out station, or even place boxes in a cart or toss them on the floor. Just kidding on the last one, but it shows the flexibility of the system! 

Each boxEZ collaborative box erector is customized based on your box sizes, and is limited only by the reach of the robot and rate required. However, we are not limited by the base system and are happy to create a complete, custom solution. 

Just as an example, many customers who have lower rates enjoy the ability to have the same robot palletize or case pack when it is not being used as a box erector robot. We can design the EOAT to be capable of handling multiple actions.
