Same Sky's AMT25 series is a rugged, high accuracy absolute encoder outputting 12 bits or 14 bits of absolute position information with Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) communication and single-turn or multi-turn output options. Thanks to its innovative capacitive platform, the series is not susceptible to contaminants such as dirt, dust, and oil that typically plague encoders in industrial environments. The AMT25's design also simplifies the assembly process, reducing the time-consuming tasks of mounting and alignment to mere seconds. Combined with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, high accuracy, a compact package, and low current draw, the AMT25 provides a compelling solution for a range of industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications.
AMT25-V Kit
The AMT25-V all-in-one absolute encoder kit offers up to 18 configurations in one package. The kit supports 9 shaft sizes ranging from 9 mm to 15.875 mm (5/8 in) and includes three simple mounting tools. Coupled with the ability to set zero position via SPI command or Same Sky’s AMT Viewpoint GUI, the AMT25-V kit provides engineers with a flexible platform in the development process and purchasing managers the ability to greatly reduce SKU count in production.
