Same Sky's AMT24 series is a rugged, high accuracy absolute encoder outputting 12 bits or 14 bits of absolute position information with RS-485 communication and single-turn or multi-turn output options. Thanks to its innovative capacitive platform, the series is not susceptible to contaminants such as dirt, dust, and oil that typically plague encoders in industrial environments. The AMT24's design also simplifies the assembly process, reducing the time-consuming tasks of mounting and alignment to mere seconds. Combined with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, high accuracy, a compact package, and low current draw, the AMT24 provides a compelling solution for a range of industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications.
AMT24-V Kit
The AMT24 series is also available as a kit that includes simple mounting tools and supports 9 sleeve bore diameters ranging from 9 mm to 15.875 mm (5/8 in), which gives the encoder added flexibility for mating with a broad range of motors.
