Automation Actuator based on Small Voice Coil Linear Motor, Magnetic Direct Drives

This compact OEM automation actuator is equipped a voice-coil linear motor drive for fast step and settle dynamics and high scanning rates. Voice coil drives provide lifetime of more than 100,000,000 cycles. The example above shows a combination of a horizontal linear-motor driven stage (V-106) and two V-900K miniature automation actuators in a test setup vertical arrangement. Position feedback with high-resolution linear encoder provides for reliable position control and repeatable accuracy.
