Midwest - 24 Volt, Compact Right Angled DC Gearmotor with Integral Brake

Compact & Lightweight yet Powerful Unit provides benefits for Solar Tracking, Robotics & Automation Applications

24V Right Angle DC Gear MotorMidwest Motion Products, Inc. of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear Motor, with integral failsafe brake, the Model No. MMP D22-376D-24V GRA60-020 BR-005. Accepting any 24 Volt DC source, including solar or battery power, this robust Gear Motor measures just 2.24” in Diameter, by 7.2” long, including the brake, and has a keyed output shaft of 14mm diameter by 25mm long. Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 “face mount” M5.5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 52mm Dia. B.C.

The output of this reversible gearmotor is rated for 29 Lb. In. (3.3Nm) torque, at 29 RPM, with a Peak Torque of 172 In Lbs. Despite its compact size, and weight of approximately 6 pounds, it’s an efficient design, boasting a 92% Gearhead efficiency, and requiring just 4 Amps at 24 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Torque. That translates into long life battery charge, low noise operation, and lower costs for related drive electronics. Motor windings for 12V, 28V, 36V, 42V, 48V, 60V & 90 Volts are available. The integral Failsafe “holding” brake is also 2.25” diameter, and operates at the same 24V DC supply voltage.
