Intelligent Valve Manifold (CPX) Seminar – Monday, October 29th
On Monday, October 29th, the intelligent valve seminar will follow the steps of a typical machine builder to commission, troubleshoot, and program a CPX automation platform within a RSLogix5000 environment. We will review the various function integration modules and programming of the CPX. Attendees will have several hands-on exercises to demonstrate the Festo Maintenance Tool software, how to parameterize the CPX system, and how to export this data using the L5K feature to a Rockwell project. Troubleshooting CPX and Ethernet/IP networks will also be covered.
Motion Control Product & Solutions Seminars – Tuesday, October 30th
During the Motion Control Product and Solutions seminars on Tuesday, October 30th, Festo technical specialists will provide an overview of the various motion control solutions offered by Festo including networking to Rockwell control architectures. The seminars also include sizing and selection of Festo electro-mechanical components, the use of the Festo Configuration Tool in hardware configuration, and the features, capabilities and benefits of the IEC 61131 programming environment (CoDeSys/SoftMotion).
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in several hands-on activities that explore the functionalities of Festo electromechanical products, motion control system architectures and the various configuration possibilities that meet the wide spectrum of application needs.
The Motion Control seminars are independent from each other allowing the participant to customize the topic offering according to their individual needs.
