ECM CEO Brian Casey To Speak at AHR Expo 2024

POSTED 01/22/2024

Casey will highlight ECM’s disruptive innovation that allows any HVACR innovator to devise, optimize, and commercialize premium performance, sustainable, electric machines.

Needham, Mass – Brian Casey, the CEO and President of US electric motor design and software company ECM PCB Stator Tech, will speak at AHR Expo 2024 at Chicago’s McCormack Place Convention Center.

In a keynote session on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 10:45am Casey will present on the benefits of PCB Stator electric motor innovation and advanced Motor CAD for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems.

AHR Expo is one of the world’s largest HVACR events, with 1,600 exhibitors and 50,000 attendees. In addition to Mr. Casey’s presentation, ECM will showcase its electric motor technology at AHR booth S10334.

As a company, ECM pairs patented PCB Stator innovation to PrintStator Motor CAD to create next generation electric machines that are smaller, quieter, and more energy and space efficient across a broad range of use cases.

ECM’s PCB Stators replace the bulky copper windings in traditional motors with an ultra-thin disc. PCB Stator motors designed via PrintStator are up to 70% lighter than conventional options—while achieving efficiencies in the mid-90s and requiring just 20% of the raw materials.

ECM’s design solutions offer significant benefits to HVACR products and systems. Accordingly, ECM is a partner to dominant pump, fan, and compressor manufacturers to provide cost-effective, energy conservative, straight-to-market solutions for both residential and commercial HVACR markets.

ECM was recognized in three categories of The 2024 AHR Expo Innovation Awards that highlight the most inventive and original products and technologies in the HVACR space.

ECM’s 2024 AHR Expo Innovation Awards distinctions included honoree status in three categories:

  • Ventilation—For ECM’s High-Performance, Lightweight 12hp PCB Stator Blower Motor

  • Indoor Air Quality—For ECM’s Ultra-light, Premium Efficiency 6hp PCB Stator Air Blower Motor ; and

  • Plumbing—For ECM’s Ultra-light, Premium Efficiency 3HP PCB Stator Pump Solutions
