A Message From the MCA Chairman
|
As I was reflecting back on 2010 I came away very encouraged and excited about the state of the motion control industry. On the practical side, clearly the economy picked up and many companies have met or exceeded 2008 levels. Certainly this was good news for all of us. On the technology front, 2010 provided numerous innovative new product releases that I’m certain will greatly improve the design efficiency for machine builders across all segments. I feel that some interesting trends are taking shape which I expect to continue in the year ahead. I will be beginning a blog in 2011 on motion control trends and other related topics; I hope it will provoke some ah-ha moments and I would love to hear your feedback and comments. My optimism for 2011 is very high and I expect similar engineering excellence to be demonstrated throughout the year. I’ll leave this final message for the year a short one and wish all of you happy holidays and a wonderful 2011!
Best Regards! |
