Built for environments that never stand still.
Sensory Robotics builds the safety layer that lets people and heavy industrial robots work side by side, without the cages, fences, and floor space that traditional guarding demands.
Our flagship product, the SR-1, uses 3D time of flight sensing to create virtual safety zones around a robot. The system continuously monitors the space around the machine, detects when a person enters a protected zone, and issues a stop signal in real time. No physical barrier required. When the zone is clear, work resumes. The result is a workspace that is both safer and more flexible than fenced automation, and that recovers floor space most plants assume they have lost for good.
What we do
Manufacturing floors are changing faster than the equipment built to protect them. Lines reconfigure, robots move, and people and machines increasingly share the same space. Fixed fencing was never designed for that reality. We replace it with sensing that adapts to the environment around it, so safety keeps pace with how modern plants actually run.
The SR-1 is UL 1740 certified (cULus) with Performance Level d (PLd) achieved through ISO 13849-1 and ISO 13849-2 methodology. That means it meets the functional safety bar industrial buyers require, validated through the standards their own engineers trust.
Who we are
We are an industrial safety company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our technology is trusted by leading manufacturers in automotive, aerospace, CPG and heavy manufacturing. Our work is backed by a a Department of Defense grant supporting Air Force applications.
We build for engineers. Every claim we make is one we can demonstrate on a live floor, and every system we ship is designed for the dynamic, real world conditions where automation actually lives.
Safety that moves with you. That is what we build.
