On-Shore USA is a precision manufacturing facility utilizing robotic automation. At a time when popular efforts to reduce labor cost opted to move manufacturing off-shore to Asia, Mexico, and Eastern Europe, On-Shore USA chose American labor and advanced technology. On-Shore was established in 2006, with its two founders holding strong backgrounds in super precision manufacturing and mechanical design engineering. The company faced significant engineering challenges in order to design and incorporate sufficient adaptability of the manufacturing system for efficient functioning as a job shop. This was a far cry from the automotive robotic setups which function for months or years performing the same processes.
