George Brown College

George Brown College is a fully accredited, publically funded community college. The Online Technical Programs in Electronics, Electromechanical, Robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers provide our students with the practical know how and technical skills needed to become more employable and successful in their fields. These distance education programs also allow our students the opportunity to complete course material and receive a certificate as a Technician while studying at home or work at their own pace. One of the main features of these programs is the complete integration of laboratory experiments and projects within the presentation of theory. This is accomplished through the introduction of software that simulates the behaviour of real-world tools and systems. The interactive simulation software allows students to design circuitry, perform tests, design ladder logic programs and work with electronic equipment, PLC’s and robotics.
