Over 700 of the automation industry’s top executives will converge at the A3 Business Forum January 15–17, 2024 in Orlando, Florida for three days of networking, keynote sessions, and entertainment. Open to all employees of A3 member companies, this event brings together the world leaders in robotics, vision and imaging, motion control and motors, and industrial artificial intelligence to learn, forge connections, and achieve success. With unparalleled access to the best industry experts and insight through the keynotes, panels, and sessions, the A3 Business Forum provides you with the crucial education and inspiration to lead your organization successfully in the coming year. Here are some of the highlights from this year’s agenda.
2024 Global Economic Outlook with Alan Beaulieu
The most anticipated keynote each year is that of Alan Beaulieu, principal at ITR Economics. With a reputation as an accurate, straightforward economist, he has been delivering award-winning workshops and economic analysis seminars in countries across the world to thousands of business owners and executives for the last 30 years.
On Tuesday morning, Beaulieu will deliver his global economic outlook for the year ahead. Tailored for the manufacturing industry, he reveals the leading indicators affecting the economy while sharing his perspective on how to capitalize on the current market. Offering incredible insight, Beaulieu’s presentation is a valuable asset when strategizing for the year ahead.
We recently spoke to Beaulieu and he shared with us what we can expect in this year’s session.
At this year’s Forum, Beaulieu will touch on the industries that have the most opportunity for growth and explain how to use a decline to your advantage and prepare for the future. “We're going to be talking about ways to get ready for what lies on the other side,” he shares. “Because if you're not ready for what's coming on the other side, you're going to be out of place and your competition's going to be ahead of you. And I don't want that to happen to you.”
The Users Speak: The Next Automation Challenges
With a lot of buzz surrounding it, you won’t want to miss this panel discussion closing out the event on Wednesday. Featuring Adi Leviatan of 3M, Gregory Brown of UPS, and Stephen Fischer of Mayo Clinic, you’ll have a front row seat to an expert discussion covering the most pressing issues in automation today.
With unparalleled experience across the automation and robotics, global supply chain, and healthcare industries, these leaders will share their knowledge and expertise solving the biggest challenges they face while sharing their advice on how to overcome these obstacles.
Cybercrime, Identity Theft and Scams
As one of the world’s most respected authorities on forgery, embezzlement, and secure documents, Frank Abagnale has worked with hundreds of financial institutions, corporations, and government agencies over the last 40 years. Known as one of the world’s most famous con men, his riveting story provided the inspiration for Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film, Catch Me If You Can starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Abagnale.
Having taught two generations of FBI agents over his 47-year career, Abagnale believes that education is the most important tool to fighting crime. “When you can explain to people how the scam works, how the cyber crime works, and they understand it, they will not fall victim to it,” he shares. And this is just what he plans to do for our audience at the A3 Business Forum.
Abagnale will discuss the importance of keeping personal data secure, how automation can help take some of the human error out of cyber crimes, and explore the challenges we face with emerging technologies.
