The Vision Show and Conference By AIA Showcases Machine Vision and Imaging Components, Solutions

POSTED 03/10/2016

>Event Also Includes Presentations and Educational Opportunities Led by Industry Experts; Held in Boston, Mass., From May 3-5

(Ann Arbor, Michigan) - AIA, the world’s largest trade association for advancing vision and imaging, announced today it will be hosting The Vision Show at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, from May 3-5. Known as North America’s largest vision and imaging trade show and conference, The Vision Show was created in 1996 to educate current and potential users about the latest advances in machine vision and provide them with practical solutions to their manufacturing challenges. Attendees include users of vision and imaging technologies, system integrators, automation integrators, machine builders, and many more.

The Vision Show will present the latest vision and imaging technologies and applications from leading manufacturers, distributors, and integrators from around the world under one roof. In addition, the accompanying conference will feature in-depth sessions on topics such as the fundamentals of machine vision, 3-D vision techniques, designing vision systems, the Internet of Things, and more. There will also be a full educational track devoted to the use of vision and imaging in the life sciences industry, along with AIA’s Certified Vision Professional courses and exams (both Basic and Advanced levels).

“Vision and imaging products are finding widespread application in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors as companies in every industry seek to become stronger global competitors," said Jeff Burnstein, President of AIA. "The Vision Show provides the best opportunity for companies interested in these technologies to discover the latest advances and learn to successfully apply them."

Admission to the trade show is free, and the concurrent educational conference offers affordable, flexible registration options. Up-to-date information about The Vision Show can be found here.

On May 3-4, AIA’s sister trade group, the Robotic Industries Association (RIA), will host its International Collaborative Robots Workshop. This conference will examine all of the key topic areas in this fast growing field. Click here for an agenda and how to register.

On Tuesday evening, May 3, all attendees and exhibitors are invited to a special networking party at historic Fenway Park’s State Street Pavilion. The evening will be filled with premium networking opportunities, ball park style food and drinks, music, and more. Space is limited. For full details visit Vision Online.
