Toshiba Teli Introduces Upgraded GigE Vision Compliant Software

IRVINE, CA - Toshiba Teli America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of imaging leader Toshiba Teli Corp. (Toyko), is offering its machine vision customers an upgraded version of its AIA GigE Vision compliant software, TeliGCAM.
TeliGCAM is a universal SDK designed to provide developers with rapid access to Toshiba Teli GiantDragon™ series and model CS6910G Gigabit Ethernet cameras. By dropping the control onto the surface of an application it will immediately support multiple cameras out-of-the-box in any popular development environment, such as Visual Studio, Visual Basic (VB), Delphi, PowerBuilder, Java, Matlab, or Python. The ability to run multiple copies of TeliGCAM in one application guarantees independent adjustment and seamless parallel acquisition from multiple GigE Vision cameras in both the design and run-time modes.
Important features of the upgrade include:
- Support for Microsoft® Windows® 7
- Support of 64-bit operating systems
- Automatic driver installer and GigE filter for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems
- Separation of the display and acquisition threads resulting in an improve performance for multi-core CPUs
- Improved anti-tearing
- Real-time frame averaging and integration.
