The Vision West Show and Conference Heads to Santa Clara, November 19-21, 2002

Ann Arbor, Michigan - The Vision Show West , the machine vision industry's leading event, will take place November 19-21, 2002 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

Alternating between the east and west coasts, The Vision Show provides an annual showcase of the industry's latest products such as cameras, frame grabbers, lighting and optics equipment, software and complete vision systems.  More than 100 companies are expected to exhibit at The Vision Show West in 2002.

An in-depth technical conference accompanies the show, providing practical, real-world solutions to end users, OEMs, and system integrators.  More than 50 global machine vision experts are expected to give presentations at the conference.

'We launched The Vision Show and Conference back in 1996 in order to help promote the use of machine vision technology,' said Jeffrey A. Burnstein, Executive Director, Automated Imaging Association (AIA), the trade group that sponsors the show and conference.

'In the ensuing years, the use of machine vision has significantly increased, making an annual show and conference extremely important for suppliers and users.  The 2002 show should be especially valuable, since it will likely be held at a time when the U.S. economy has pulled out of recession and the major users of machine vision, particularly in the semiconductor and electronics markets, are actively seeking out new products to help them become stronger global manufacturers,' Burnstein said.
