Excellent alternative to air-spaced doublets & triplets in the UV
Barrington, N.J. - Edmund Optics (EO), the premier provider of optical components, introduces its new TECHSPEC® Near UV Achromatic Lenses. These high performance lenses provide excellent transmission in the 345-700 nm range. They are specifically designed to minimize the spot size for polychromatic illumination in the 345-550 nm region.
Perfect for use with NUV LEDs and Mercury Lamps
Edmund Optics' TECHSPEC Near UV Achromatic Lenses are perfect for use in fluorescence applications. They are ideal for use in simple focusing of common UV light sources, including Mercury Arc Lamps, UV LEDs and Tripled Nd: YAG lasers. TECHSPEC Near UV Achromatic Lenses feature a low-cost, simple cemented design and offer an excellent alternative to air-spaced doublets and triplets in the UV region. The lenses provide greater than 90% transmission from 360-700 nm and supply greater than 50% transmission at 334 nm with no spherical aberration or coma.
In-stock and available for immediate delivery in a variety of sizes
To accommodate a wide variety of integration options, TECHSPEC Near UV Achromatic Lenses are available in 12.5 mm diameter models in 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm EFL and in 25 mm diameter models in 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm and 125 mm EFL. All models include a UV-VIS coating and are in-stock and available for immediate delivery for easy system integration and excellent value.
