Smart Vision Lights Hires New President

Smart Vision Lights is pleased to welcome the addition of Dave Spaulding as President. In this position Dave will direct the SVL team to continued growth in Machine Vision Lighting products, transportation imaging and new markets for SVL’s expertise in LED lighting. “With the continual growth we have been experiencing, we knew it was time to bring in someone to lead the operations of the company. Dave has more than 25 years’ experience in successful management, economic development, sales, marketing and business development within a variety of companies and industries” explains Director of Sales, Bobby Segraves.
Most recently, Dave worked with The Right Place in Grand Rapids Michigan. In his position Dave was responsible for delivering training services provided by the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC), a nonprofit extension of the Michigan Economic Development Company (MEDC). Dave worked with several Michigan manufacturers offering consulting services, marketing assistance, growth strategies, continuous improvement methods, strategic planning and more.
According to Bobby Segraves, “Dave’s understanding of our industry coupled with his leadership skills and his extensive background in manufacturing makes him the ideal person to lead us into the next exciting phase of our continually evolving business.”
