SM2-D1312 Series of Smart Cameras

Photonfocus is pleased to announce the release of three new smart cameras in our SM2-D1312 series. The new 1.4Mpix smart cameras are based on the newly developed 3rd Generation CMOS imager A1312 from Photonfocus. The A1312 image sensor from Photonfocus was optimised for applications in the visible as well as the NIR (Near Infra Red up to 1100nm).
The main features of the new SM2-D1312 smart camera series are:
- Smart Camera based on Texas Instruments DSP
- Photonfocus A1312 CMOS image sensor
- Halcon Embedded and OpenCV compatible
- Much lower power consumption than a computer based camera system
- JPEG compression for images running at 70 fps
