Ahrensburg – Camera manufacturer Basler is expanding its portfolio to include new ace models with Sony's IMX249 Global Shutter CMOS sensor from the Pregius series. The four new ace models stand out for a wide dynamic range and strong sensitivity even in difficult lighting conditions.
The new camera models feature a combination of small design and large, high-performance sensor with the latest CMOS technology. They deliver up to 40 frames per second at a resolution of 2.3 megapixels and are available with Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 interfaces.
Sören Böge, Product Manager for the Basler ace product line, explains: "Our new ace models are extremely sensitive, yet also very small and lightweight. They are well suited for applications that do not require high-speed cameras, but which nevertheless benefit from the excellent image quality of the CMOS sensors from Sony's Pregius series.
