RVSI Receives $500,000 Follow-on Order for Machine Vision Equipment From Leading Consumer Products Company

NASHUA, N.H., May 6 -- Robotic Vision Systems, Inc. (RVSI) (OTC Bulletin Board: RVSI.OB) today said its Acuity CiMatrix Division has received an order for its Visionscape™ machine vision products for use at a major consumer products company. The value of the order is approximately $500,000. RVSI received the order through the customer's system integrator and the equipment will be shipped commencing in May 2004.
