Machine Vision Sessions Standing Room Only

The International Robotics & Vision Conference          The International Robots & Vision Conference

6/6/01 - Chicago, IL: The International Robots & Vision Conference kicked-off Monday at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.  In spite of stormy weather in the Windy City, conference sessions and tutorials were well attended by a diverse audience representing a wide range of industries.

Machine Vision sessions and tutorials were of particular interest to attendees, with standing room only in many of the classes.  Wednesday morning's 'Robot Vision' drew a large crowd of current robot users interested in incorporating vision technology into their applications, as well as many individuals considering the use of robots.

'The material presented was very thorough,' said one attendee of the Fundamentals of Machine Vision tutorial.  'Ms. Bolhouse (Valerie Bolhouse, a Technical Specialist with Ford Motor Company) is a very knowledgeable instructor, and her materials were very detailed.  She covered much more than I had expected!'

The Conference continues in Chicago through Thursday morning.
