Point Grey Research Relocates German Office and Expands Operations

June 4, 2008 – Vancouver, BC, Canada – Point Grey Research® Inc., a world leader in advanced digital camera systems, today announced the relocation and expansion of its wholly-owned German subsidiary, Point Grey Research GmbH, to Ludwigsburg, Germany.
Point Grey Research GmbH provides sales and support services to customers in Europe, Russia, Africa and Israel. Effective immediately, the German office has moved into larger, more modern facilities on the fourth floor of Schwieberdinger Strasse 60 in Ludwigsburg, near Stuttgart. The new office is almost double the size of the previous office located in Munich.
'It has been an exciting time since we first opened our German office in 2006,' says Vladimir Tucakov, Director at Point Grey. 'We have seen our company grow substantially on an international level and we have continued to solidify our position as a leading supplier of quality industrial FireWire cameras and components. Europe continues to be a key market for Point Grey, and the relocation to Ludwigsburg is a critical component of our expansion strategy within the EU.'
