New Imaging Technologies (NIT) is a leader in SWIR (Short Wave Infra-Red) and high dynamic range CMOS imaging devices, based on an innovative solar-cell logarithmic pixel technology. NIT was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from Institut-Telecom Sud-Paris after many years of research activity on CMOS smart imaging devices. Presently NIT develops, manufactures and sells InGaAs sensors and cameras for short wave infrared band imaging and High Dynamic Range CMOS sensors and cameras for high-end visible band. NIT addresses various markets with a focus on industry, scientific, aeronautics, surveillance & defense. NIT employs 20 people and is located at Verrieres le Buisson, close to Paris.

NIT (New Imaging Technologies) introduces its latest innovation in SWIR imaging technology: a high-resolution Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) InGaAs sensor designed for the most demanding challenges in the field.

Overview

The new SWIR sensor – NSC2101 boasts remarkable features, including a high-performance InGaAs sensor with an 8µm pixel pitch, delivering an impressive 2MPIX resolution at 1920x1080px. Its ultra-low noise of only 25e- ensures exceptional image clarity, even in challenging environments. Additionally, with a dynamic range of 64dB, the sensor captures a wide spectrum of light intensities with precision and accuracy.

  • 64dB dynamic range

This cutting-edge sensor is designed and manufactured by NIT in France
