Nominations Sought for Robots & Vision User Recognition Award
Ann Arbor, MI -- Automated Imaging Association and its sister trade group, the Robotic Industries Association, are now seeking nominations for the prestigious Robots & Vision User Recognition Award.
Presented every two years at the International Robots & Vision Show (next event: June 3-5, 2003), the award honors end user companies who have successfully applied machine vision and/or robotics technology to improve product quality, boost productivity, save money, and improve their competitive position.
Past award winners include Honeywell, Pepperidge Farm, and Pioneer Hi-Bred International.
'This award program is a great way to honor companies for outstanding accomplishments, as well as to educate potential new users about the benefits of machine vision and robotics,' said Jeff Burnstein, Executive Director of the Automated Imaging Association.
Representatives from two past winners, Honeywell and Pepperidge Farm, will give presentations at the first 'Robotics User Discovery Day' set for Wednesday, November 6, 2002 in Orlando. For complete details on this conference, click here.
Nominations for the 2003 award will be accepted through Friday, December 6, 2002.
