NASA Space Initiatives Explored at Robots & Vision Show

Ann Arbor, MI - NASA's latest Space Science Enterprise Strategic Plan will be discussed at a special luncheon on Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at the International Robots & Vision Show and Conference at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago), Illinois.
The luncheon, co-sponsored with Sensors Expo that is running concurrently with the Robots & Vision Show, features an address by Dr. Harley Thronson, Technology Director for NASA's Space Science Enterprise. He will discuss the important role of advanced sensor-based technologies in helping NASA achieve its goals.
Another highlight of the luncheon will be the presentation of the Robots & Vision User Recognition Award by Robotic Industries Association and the Automated Imaging Association. This prestigious award honors companies for outstanding applications of robots and/or machine vision systems.
