The event, which is the largest clinical lab exposition in the world, takes place July 17-19, 2012, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, CA.Microscan's new MS-2D barcode imager is specifically designed for embedded applications.

MS-2D barcode imaging engine — The MS-2D engine is an ultra-compact barcode imaging system designed specifically for embedded applications. Featuring advanced technologies for decoding, the MS-2D includes a dual optical field for reliable reading of both large 1D barcodes and high-density 2D symbols.

Handheld 1D and 2D barcode scanners and imagers — Microscan offers a range of high-performance handheld products for accurate data collection, including the new HS-21, with powerful decode algorithms for 1D and 2D codes. It features an ergonomic design that is easily washed down with standard decontaminants.

Vision MINI smart camera — the world’s smallest vision system, the Vision MINI now is available with a global shutter for high-speed processing. Designed to provide reliable performance in embedded identification and inspection applications, it is ideal for barcode reading, fill level verification and label inspection. The Vision MINI was developed for OEMs, with a small form factor (1.80 x 2.10 x 1.00") that allows for flexible positioning in tight spaces.
