Mark Maleta Joins the LMI Team

July 29th 2009, Delta, British Columbia, Canada - Mark Maleta joins LMI Technologies Inc. (LMI) as worldwide Manager, Wood Division Business Development. In his new role, Mr. Maleta will be responsible for managing LMI’s Wood Division sales and support initiatives including the existing customer base of in-house engineering teams, original equipment manufacturers and system integrators.

As part of his new responsibilities, Mark is tasked with identifying new opportunities in LMI’s custom sensor solutions to the worldwide wood manufacturing business, including the identification of new applications, product solutions and building new partnerships. 

Prior to LMI, Mr. Maleta worked for USNR, one of the leading suppliers to manufacturers and end users in the industry. He brings to his new position 25 years of management and wood processing experience, which includes expertise gained from management roles in sales, operations, product development, and new business development.
