LMI Technologies Promotes Global Identity

VANCOUVER, CANADA--- LMI Technologies Inc. announced that the company is changing the names of its global business units to better reflect the combined identity of its global operations.
LMI Technologies Inc. is a manufacturer of laser-based 3D machine vision sensors for process optimization and quality control in various industries. These products are sold under the brand names of Selcom, Diffracto, DynaVisionÒ and LaserPour.
In making the announcement, Maria Bjorner-Brauer, Corporate Marketing Manager, said that these brand names will remain part of the corporate culture and will continue to be used to market products and systems within each of the respective business units. The name changes occurred January 1, 2003.
‘‘We anticipate the consolidated LMI Technologies name will communicate to our customer base that we are a global solutions provider who has the experience and product depth to respond to a wide array of applications,’‘ noted Bjorner-Brauer. ‘‘Although our product brands are well-known within certain industries, we feel the identity of LMI Technologies will strengthen our overall commitment to our business partners and customers.’‘
