LMI Technologies partners with ADSTEC and G4 Technology to bring Gocator to Asia

VANCOUVER, CANADA -- LMI Technologies, a global industry leader in 3D laser measurement and control sensor technology today announced that ADSTEC and G4 Technology have signed distributor agreements for the Gocator line of all-in-one 3D smart sensors in Japan and Taiwan (respectively). Companies in Asia looking to improve their factory automation processes will now have access to LMI Technologies’ Gocator family of robust, easy to use, 3D laser measurement sensors.
Gocator laser line displacement smart sensors are all-in-one solutions that make 3D measurement and control for factory automation accessible to all levels of expertise. Through Gocator’s built-in web tools, users can easily perform inline part inspections, quality controls, communicate results (either directly or to a PLC), as well as make sorting and tracking decisions. Gocators fit a large range of applications as fully functional standalone sensors, or when combined to create powerful multi-Gocator systems.
“G4 and ADSTEC are two of the best machine vision product distributors in Asia and working with them to bring the Gocator to Taiwan and Japan is an exciting opportunity for us,” said LMI Director of Sales, Kevin Brown. “Given the scope of manufacturing production in Asia and the revolutionary design of the Gocator, this distribution network expansion represents significant revenue potential for all of our companies.”
Distributors in Japan and Taiwan will expose LMI’s Gocator products to some of the world’s largest manufacturers. It is anticipated that the Gocator will be a natural fit for the Asian manufacturing industry due to its ease of integration and intuitive user interface.
