LMI Technologies Inc. Signs Distribution Agreement with Japan F.A. Systems Corporation

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada – LMI Technologies Inc. (LMI) is happy to announce that they have signed a distribution agreement with Japan F.A. Systems Corporation (JFAS) to initiate a new added sales value channel in Japan for the following LMI product lines: maestro™, HexSight™ and FireSync™.
When asked why JFAS chose LMI as a new supplier, Mr. Naoyuki Kani, CEO of JFAS simply says, ‘‘both LMI and JFAS share similar business ethics, we both place a lot of energy on providing the best customer service.’‘ Kani has established a 20 year relationship with his current partners in the machine vision industry, and LMI has 30 years of technical know-how in vision sensor technology. Together, both JFAS and LMI look forward to opening up new opportunities for LMI applied technology and JFAS services in Japan.
Traditionally, LMI is recognized for their Sensors That See™ brand that focused on sensor solutions for specific niche markets in wood manufacturing, rubber & tire, transportation, or agriculture. But in 2007, LMI moved into the general machine vision industry with their FireSync™ component based platform for vision engineers. This was followed by the recently launched maestro product line that was released at Vision 2008 in Stuttgart, Germany on November 4th, 2008.
