HD-SDI Interface for the Sony FCB-H11
Active Silicon launches a HD-SDI interface for the Sony FCB-H11 – the popular HD resolution block camera with a built in 10x optical zoom.The Active-HD-SDI interface provides HD-SDI video data, serial control as well as analog video pass-through for the Sony FCB-H11 block camera.
High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) is widely used in broadcast and medical applications and offers high resolution, uncompressed digital video over conventional coaxial cabling. The module also includes a RS-232 interface as well as access to the composite and HD component video signals present on the FCB-H11.
This is the second interface module for the Sony FCB-H11 from Active Silicon – the first was the CoaXPress interface earlier this year.
For a compatible PC interface solution, Active Silicon can offer the Phoenix-HD-SDI range of frame grabbers resulting in an end to end solution for HD imaging applications.
Like all Active Silicon’s video interface products, support is provided for all the leading operating systems…. Windows 32 and 64 bit, Linux, MacOS X, VxWorks and QNX. Similarly, as well as PC versions of the acquisition card, there are also embedded system versions, such as PCI/104-Express and PMC, are also available for custom OEM systems.
All Active Silicon acquisition solutions are provided with an easy to use, yet comprehensive Software Development Kit which allows integrators to develop applications quickly and simply, together with a range of built-in third-party software drivers for packages such as MATLAB and LabVIEW. Support is also provided for DirectShow and QuickTime interfaces. Customers will also have direct access to Active Silicon for vision systems advice, consultancy and systems integration work to ensure a successful completion of end-user applications.
