• Firmware update adds new Measurement Output Filters
• Gocator Displacement Sensor support
VANCOUVER, CANADA -- LMI Technologies, a global leader in 3D sensor measurement technology for industrial measurement and control applications, today launched Gocator Firmware Release 3.4. This firmware release delivers greater user control over measurement output, increases sensor performance, and supports the recently introduced Gocator Displacement Sensors product line.

"Release 3.4 is focused on performance and ensuring that Gocator Displacement Sensor users are getting the full Gocator experience," says Technical Product Manager, Chi Ho Ng. "We are constantly improving what goes into to Gocator so that users can get the most out of their sensor. That's the flexibility and power of Gocator 3D smart sensor technology."
For two years, Gocator has been setting a new standard for optimization and control in today’s production facilities. Gocator 3D smart sensors provide users with total control over setup and operation through its built-in, web-based user interface and intuitive measurement tools. Users can quickly perform 100% non-contact inline inspection, track and sort parts, and communicate results either directly or to a PLC. Gocator sensors ship pre-calibrated to deliver measurement results out-of-the-box and are available different fields of view, measurement ranges, laser classes, resolutions, and levels of customization to suit an application’s specific needs.
Highlight features of Release 3.4 include:
